Outback II - Auburn/Red
The Ridgemont Outback II is our most versatile style. Constructed of durable 2mm waxed full grain leather, waxed cotton canvas, a bespoke open cell insole and a hi-density 100% rubber, lugged vulcanized outsole, it's designed to stand up to all but the most extreme environments. New for this version is a lockstitch side seam for an ultra secure outsole bond and a BiFit composite lasting board for enhanced durability, comfort and improved flex in the forefoot. In addition it comes with a DWR (durable water repellent) coating that ensures moisture beads straight off the boot.
Unlike most other hiking boots, it's not so bulky that you'll look like you just got finished hiking the Muir trail if you feel like grabbing some breakfast after your morning hike. Outside magazine said 'This Boot Can Do Anything!'. We tend to agree!
Plus it's now available down to a men's size 5 for the younger hikers and also the fairer ones..

Fortunately the guys at FedEx know that too and at the checkout you’ll be offered a variety of enhanced services from 2 Day to Next Day Air delivery. It costs a bit but when you’ve got to, you just got to.
CANADA VIA APC POSTAL LOGISTICS
Ridgemont uses APC Postal Logistics for all deliveries to Canada. We charge a flat US$25 on all orders to Canada. Most orders leave within 48 hours from our warehouse in California. Due to this short processing time, we will not be able to make amendments to your order once placed.Canadian customers may have to pay customs or import duties once the parcel reaches the country. To avoid any unexpected charges, we advise that you contact your local customs office for a breakdown of these charges before you order. As soon as your order has shipped, we will send you a shipping confirmation email stating your tracking number and the carrier’s website so that you can keep an eye on the shipment. All items, including sale items, can be returned for a full refund for up to 28 days after receipt of the items. Shipping costs are excluded and are your responsibility.
To return items, please contact customer services for a Return Authorization number at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once you have an RA number, please include a copy of your original packing slip with reference to your RA number and any shipping materials, i.e., bags/boxes, etc. that was sent with your original order. Once we receive your return, we will issue a refund to your original form of payment. We aim to process all refunds within 24 hours once the items are received. However, during busy times, this might take slightly longer. We will email a confirmation once the refund has been made.
We recommend that you use a reliable signed for delivery service to return the goods. Goods are returned to Ridgemont Outfitters at your own expense and risk, so please make sure you have sufficient insurance cover especially when returning valuable products. We cannot accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit.
Any import duties that may arise for shipping and returned items will need to be covered by you. If a discount was applied to your original order, any returned item would only be refunded to the value of your original purchase value.
Returned products must be in new, unused and unworn condition with all the original packaging and tags still attached. We do not accept any items with indications that it was used. In such cases, the item(s) will be returned to the purchaser, and no refund will be issued.
For faulty, late returns past the 28 day return period or if you’ve received an item that does match what you ordered, please contact us on email@example.com.
If we have dispatched an incorrect item that was not what you ordered we will cover your returns postage as well as free postage on the replacement item.
Please note that we only offer refunds and not exchanges. If you require a different size or color, please return the original item and then re-order the correct item through the website.
